Class 9/28 & 10/1
Students will complete a plant cell poster, illustrating the different parts to a cell, as well as the functions of those organelles.
Class 10/2 & 10/3
Students will view the Magic of Cells and fill out a movie guide. Students will also match organelles to their picture in an animal cell and define their function.

Class 10/12 & 10/15
Students will complete the cell theory worksheet, as well as compare and contrast prokaryotic cells with eukaryotic cells. Students also have a quiz on cell theory, as well as organelles and their function.
Class 10/16 & 10/17
Students will complete the surface area to volume lab, as well as the movement across the membrane worksheet.

Students will complete a lab dealing with photosynthesis. They will analyze the products of the photosynthesis reaction as well as respiration.
Class 10/26 & 10/29
Students will complete a lab dealing with cellular respiration. They will design their own experiment using the problem "What variable will make cellular respiration happen faster?"
Class 10/30 & 10/31
Students will review for the exam.
